Altought it's called 'a race', you don't have to ride fastest in order to win it. It will be more important to show knowledge of Peljesac wines and food specialties, which will be offered for tasting on several 'check points' along the route. For this event - it can be easily said that it's important to participate - not to win it.
16km long route on the plateau of Peljesac wine growing region with just 160 hm of total climb, should not present the problem even for total recreatives (providing that they be moderate in tasting wine and food ;). Check points will be established in local wineries and agricultural households - where contestants will be offered local food and wines, and asked to answer one question about them. Correct answers will be marked for the total ranking of the race.
Entrance fee for the race is 50 kn (with pre-registration) or 60 kn, which includes meal which will be provided by the organiser.
