Small village called Postup is a famous Croatian vine growing area. It is situated in an elevated position and it offers breathtaking views of Peljesac channel, islands and vineyards surrounded by stone walls.
This area has a long history of wine making and wine from Postup was one of the first two wines in Croatia with protected origin.
Apart from great wine they also produce sweet after-dinner wine called prošek which also goes very well with traditional deserts.
Using this herbs picked in the bush the locals make a potent liquor called travarica. Every family has their own secret recipe. Travarica is supposed to be good for the stomach.
While in Postup you can enjoy peaceful rest, high quality wine, beautiful views and friendly people.
